Israeli forces have arrested Ashraf al-Awari, the Palestinian Authority's Minister for Jerusalem Affairs.

Modern.az reports that the Palestinian WAFA news agency announced this.

It was reported that Israeli forces raided Ashraf al-Awari's home in the Silwan neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem and arrested him.

The minister's office told Turkey's Anadolu Agency that Israeli police did not provide any explanation for his arrest.
