US President Donald Trump has said that diplomatic dialogue with Iran may be possible in the future.
Modern.az reports that Trump said talks with Tehran “could happen someday” and reiterated that Iran's possession of nuclear weapons is unacceptable to Washington.
The US leader also made a remarkable statement about the Strait of Hormuz, saying that the US has full control over the strategic waterway.
Trump's statements are seen as a re-emergence of the possibility of diplomatic contact at a time when military tensions between Washington and Tehran continue.
