Armenia intends to establish trade relations with Azerbaijan within the next five years as part of the institutionalization of peace.
Modern.az reports that this was stated in the draft government program for 2026-2031.
The document states that work will continue towards the signing and ratification of an agreement on the establishment of peace and interstate relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the delimitation and demarcation of the state border, as well as the intensification of contacts between civil societies and business circles, and bilateral trade.
