The wreckage of a light-engine aircraft that went missing on Sunday in Italy's southern Calabria region has been found.
Modern.az reports that, according to the "Ansa" agency, two people on board the plane died.
The plane's wreckage was found in the Lagicello area of Cosenza province, near a small natural lake in the municipality of Fuscaldo.
The victims were identified as 64-year-old pilot Carlo Arnulfo from Rome and 55-year-old Angela Buccico from Matera. Both were lawyers.
Buccico was the daughter of Emilio Nicola Buccico, who was the mayor of Matera from 2007 to 2009, and the sister of Rocco Buccico, the city's current deputy mayor.
