In January-May 2026, exports clearly dominated foreign trade operations between Azerbaijan and Italy.
Modern.az reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that during the reporting period, the share of exports in trade with Italy was 95.7 percent, and the share of imports was 4.3 percent.
In general, during the reporting period, Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover amounted to 22 billion 164.6 million US dollars, and the positive trade balance amounted to 8 billion 528 million dollars.
