Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, who is on a visit to Tbilisi, Georgia, met with the Prime Minister of that country, Mr. Irakli Kobakhidze.
According to information given to Modern.az by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, during the meeting, which was also attended by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Georgia, Irakli Chikovani, the current state of cooperation between the two countries and issues on the regional and international agenda were discussed.
The parties also emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the region and highlighted the high level of strategic partnership and cooperation in the field of defense between Georgia and Azerbaijan.
