The situation in the South Caucasus has changed dramatically, and the Second Karabakh War was the reason for this.
Modern.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev said these words at the opening of the IV Shusha Global Media Forum.
The head of our state noted that many deposits have been moved. Other events taking place in the region – the full restoration of sovereignty by Azerbaijan, Armenia's pro-European activities and related processes, etc. I think this already requires a re-evaluation of the situation, both by analysts and at the state level.
The President also emphasized that the South Caucasus should not be perceived as an arena of geopolitical confrontation. Azerbaijan prevented this:
“We did not become victims of geopolitical intrigues. We did not allow any of the foreign actors to use Azerbaijan,” the head of our state emphasized.
