During the first 5 months of the current year, 631 marriages between citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan and foreign or stateless persons were registered by the registration bodies of the Ministry of Justice.
This information was provided by the Ministry of Justice in response to an inquiry from Modern.az.
According to the information, among those marriages, 307 citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan were women, and 324 were men.
“For your information, marriages were mainly registered with citizens of Turkey, Russia, Georgia, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
For comparison, in the first 5 months of last year, 858 citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan entered into marriage with foreign or stateless persons,” the official statement noted.
