A ship with Azerbaijani citizens on board was attacked by a drone near the coast of Odesa.
Modern.az reports that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement about this.
It was reported that on July 14, at approximately 15:15 local time, a civilian merchant ship named Atlas Bey, belonging to Turkey's Okean Maritime company, was subjected to a drone attack near the coast of Odesa, Ukraine. 11 of the crew members on the ship are citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan. According to the information, with the exception of the ship's captain, who is an Azerbaijani citizen, the other crew members were brought ashore in Odesa. Their condition is assessed as satisfactory. Measures are being taken to search for the ship's captain. The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Ukraine maintains constant contact with relevant institutions and takes appropriate measures to provide necessary consular support to Azerbaijani citizens.
