Hungarian Defense Minister Romulusz Ruszin-Szendi announced that his country is ending cooperation with Russia.
Modern.az reports with reference to foreign media that the minister stated that Budapest aims to restore the trust of NATO allies and "close the door" on Moscow.
According to him, the government is preventing possible intervention attempts by Russia and changing priorities in foreign policy in favor of Western partners.
As an indicator of the new course, Hungary also apologized to its allies for the actions of the previous leadership.
