Currently, no cases of Dengue fever have been registered in Azerbaijan.
This was stated by the Center for Control of Especially Dangerous Infections of the Ministry of Health in response to a query from Modern.az.

It was noted that the center's specialists are taking necessary measures to control and prevent the disease.
"If individuals with symptoms of the disease are detected, the Center has all the necessary facilities for their laboratory examinations. At the same time, regular monitoring is carried out on mosquitoes, which are carriers of the disease. Currently, the epidemiological situation in the country is stable and under full control. There are no factors that give cause for concern regarding the risk of the disease spreading to our country from neighboring countries. The public is advised to refer to official information and only consider the statements of health institutions."

It should be noted that the first case of Dengue virus infection has been detected in Georgia.
