One of the world's prestigious ranking agencies, "Round University Ranking" (RUR), has published the next ranking list of world universities.
According to Modern.az, Baku State University (BSU) advanced 189 places in the mentioned list. BSU, which ranked 636th in the global ranking, maintained its leading position among the country's universities.
In total, 17 higher education institutions from Azerbaijan were included in this year's list. The ranking of the country's universities is as follows:

The top five in the global ranking table are occupied by leading educational institutions in the USA. In order, the first place is Harvard University, followed by California Institute of Technology (Caltech), Stanford University, Johns Hopkins University, and University of Pennsylvania.
