The State Examination Center announced the results of the admission exam held on July 5, 2026, for II and III specialty groups.
In this exam, the highest result in the III specialty group - 400 points - was collected by 3 people.
One of them is Mammadova Aydan Ikhtiyar qizi, a graduate of Kur settlement secondary school in Shamkir district.
Modern.az reports that AzEdu.az contacted Aydan Mammadova to learn about her impressions.
Those sleepless nights pass before my eyes like a film strip:
"Scoring 400 points was actually not easy at all. I suffered a lot on this path. My sleepless nights, the efforts of my parents, the hard work of my teachers... When I say these, I feel both very excited and proud of myself. Those sleepless nights pass before my eyes like a film strip.
Actually, my goal was 700 points. But due to a technical difficulty in the listening section of the graduation exam, I could not achieve the desired result and could not score 300 points.
But then I thought that nothing is the end. Behind every success lie certain defeats and difficulties. So I pulled myself together. I had experienced a psychological downturn, but I overcame it. In the first block exam, I scored 395.5 points. Then I also participated in the second block exam and finally scored 400 points. Seeing those 400 points was truly very proud. This feeling is very difficult to express in words. No matter how hard I try, words cannot fully express the pride I felt."
I have been a student who stayed away from social networks:
"The questions were generally divided into three groups: difficult, medium, and easy level. That is, there were questions of every type. In terms of difficulty, it did not differ much from last year's exam. I did not feel a significant difference in difficulty between the first and second exams either. Overall, it was a normal level exam. Yes, I worked day and night for this result.
I have not yet fully determined my university choice, but I have already chosen my specialty. I am considering law. My next goal is to successfully complete my bachelor's degree and then pursue a master's degree. Hopefully, I want to continue my education either at one of the prestigious universities in Azerbaijan or abroad. But I have not yet fully clarified this. Currently, I have focused all my attention on my bachelor's degree.
I haven't had a specific platform that I used for social media. But I used YouTube for lessons, for educational purposes. In general, I have been a student who stayed away from social networks, I can say I hardly used them. I only used YouTube in a limited way. I was also in a Telegram group. Information about daily lessons was shared there, and I followed them. I am also a three-time medalist of the republican Olympiad."
While preparing for the exam, I had put many of my entertainments on the back burner:
"My advice to applicants is to use social networks in a limited way, to set certain restrictions for themselves. Because during the exam process, it is necessary to stay away from some things, even if temporarily. For example, I had put many of my entertainments on the back burner. I had focused all my attention on my studies until I reached my goal.
I think that working purposefully is very important. For me, the main issue is not quantity. That is, quality reading is more important than reading a lot. It is more appropriate to read a lesson once, fully mastering it, than to read it superficially five times. Therefore, my advice is to work systematically, determine their goals in advance, and consistently move in that direction."
