Following mass anti-government protests in Serbia, President Aleksandar Vučić announced his readiness to hold early parliamentary elections.

However, the date of the new elections has not yet been determined.
It should be noted that on November 1, thousands of people gathered in Novi Sad to participate in an anti-government protest. The event, attended by approximately 39,000 people, was dedicated to the anniversary of the tragedy that occurred at the railway station in 2024.
That year, several people lost their lives as a result of the station roof collapsing.
