Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan commented on Samvel Karapetyan's candidacy for Prime Minister from the "Strong Armenia" party.
Modern.az reports that Pashinyan noted at the briefing that, according to the laws and Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, persons with citizenship in a second or third country cannot be candidates for either parliament or prime minister.
“The issue you are discussing does not exist either de jure or de facto. It is unnecessary to comment on something that does not exist,” – Pashinyan added.
