The p of Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil was found under the rubble of a house destroyed by an Israeli airstrike.
Modern.az reports that "Reuters" spread information about this, citing a high-ranking Lebanese military official. Khalil's death was also confirmed by Lebanon's National News Agency.
Amal Khalil worked as a correspondent for the Lebanese newspaper “Al-Akhbar”.
Lebanon's Ministry of Health stated that Israel “pursued” journalists Amal Khalil and Zeinab Faraj and struck the house where they took refuge after the initial attack. The Israeli army, however, denied accusations that the journalists were deliberately targeted.
Lebanon's Press Club offered condolences, stating that Khalil “lost her life for the cause she believed in” and called the strike “part of Israel's deliberate campaign against journalists and media workers.”
