German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said that easing sanctions on Iran is possible, but for this, Tehran must fulfill three main conditions.
Modern.az reports that, according to Merz, if a comprehensive agreement is reached, sanctions can be gradually weakened.
The Chancellor noted that, first of all, a quick and clear agreement must be reached to ensure free navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.
The complete cessation of Iran's nuclear program was cited as the second condition.
Thirdly, the importance of ensuring Israel's security was emphasized. "Iran must stop threats against Israel and its neighbors," Merz added.
