Armenia's interim charge d'affaires in Belarus, Artur Sargsyan, was summoned to the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs today.
Modern.az reports that the Belarusian Foreign Ministry issued a statement on this.
"In connection with the recent unfriendly actions of the Armenian side, a strong protest was expressed to the Armenian diplomat and a corresponding note was presented," the statement said.
It should be recalled that the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament, Alen Simonyan, called Belarus a province of Russia and stated that Armenia would not be governed as such a province. The Belarusian authorities expressed their protest against this.
