Some European countries have systems that allow partners to apply for a visa without requiring marriage.
Modern.az reports that Germany, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden (Sambo visa), Switzerland, Italy, and Norway are among the countries in this category. Although some states do not have a special “lover's visa” program, it is possible to use a family or guest visa for short-term meetings within the framework of existing visa rules.
Applicants for a partner visa are generally required to have a valid passport, proof of financial means to cover travel expenses, a clean criminal record, and no previous violations of visa rules. At the same time, an official invitation letter from a partner living abroad is considered one of the main documents confirming the authenticity of the relationship.
The application process is carried out through the consulates or visa centers of the countries. This stage includes filling out the application form, preparing documents, making an appointment, providing biometric data, and conducting an interview if necessary.
The required documents include a passport valid for at least 3 months, biometric photos taken in the last 6 months, an application form, an invitation letter, round-trip tickets, a bank statement, a visa fee receipt, and travel insurance with a minimum coverage of 30,000 euros. In some cases, additional documents may also be required.
Within the framework of the rules, an invitation letter written by a partner living abroad is of particular importance. It is important that the letter is prepared in the language of the country of application, addressed to the official p, and clearly reflects the information of the parties, the nature of the relationship, and the purpose of the trip.
