Some details have emerged regarding the accident in Georgia's Gardabani region, which killed 7 of our compatriots. A criminal case has been opened.
According to information obtained by Modern.az, four brothers from 2 families died in the incident. As a result of the accident, residents of Birlik village in Gardabani - brothers Shamil and Kamil Aliyev, as well as brothers Khalil and Sahir Jalilov - passed away. The other passengers are reported to be residents of the neighboring Sagarejo region.
According to eyewitnesses, the car was traveling at a very high speed, the driver lost control, and the car broke into pieces after hitting a tree. Some passengers are reported to have been thrown out of the car due to the impact.
Village residents said that the accident created a terrible scene, with car debris scattered around and a part of the car burning.
One of the school teachers, speaking about the brothers who lost their lives, stated that 19-year-old Kamil and 17-year-old Shamil lost their parents at an early age and were raised under the care of their grandparents:
“They were very well-behaved, quiet, and hardworking children. Shamil worked as a waiter, and Kamil was involved in boxing. Everyone in the village loved them,” the teacher noted.
Currently, investigative measures are ongoing at the scene. An examination has been ordered on the bodies of the deceased.
It should be recalled that the incident occurred this morning in Birlik village, on the Gardabani–Rustavi road. A BMW car traveling at high speed lost control and crashed into a tree. Due to the force of the impact, the car was completely torn apart.
