Another soldier of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) was killed during an operation in southern Lebanon.

It was reported that 20-year-old Sergeant Negev Dagan, serving in the 12th battalion of the “Golani” brigade, lost his life as a result of a mortar attack.
According to the information, the incident occurred in the eastern sector of southern Lebanon. Negev Dagan, serving in the 36th division, was participating in operational measures for clearing the area.
It was noted that yesterday around 22:00, the positions of Israeli soldiers were shelled by “Hezbollah” militants with mortars. One of the shells exploded near a group of soldiers.
As a result, Sergeant Negev Dagan was seriously wounded. Although he was immediately given medical assistance at the scene, doctors could not save his life.
It was reported that after the attack, the Israeli army launched retaliatory strikes and targeted the positions from which fire was opened.
