US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan will sign a memorandum of understanding in Yerevan today.
Modern.az reports that this was stated in a statement by the US Department of State.
"US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will participate in the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan in Yerevan," the statement said.
The Rubio-Mirzoyan meeting will take place at 15:30 Baku time. The document is expected to be signed at 16:00. The content of the memorandum is not disclosed.
It should be noted that Rubio will visit Armenia today. Within the framework of the visit, the Secretary of State will meet with Mirzoyan, and after the meeting, the parties will make a joint statement to the press. The signing of bilateral documents is also planned within the framework of the visit.
