The main lesson the West should have learned since 2008 is not to go to war with Russia.
Modern.az reports that Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, spoke about this in an interview with the newspaper "South Ossetia".
"The result of what happened was always the same: the triumph of the Russian spirit and the strength of our weapons, the shameful flight of the invaders. The incitement of national issues also leads to severe consequences. Mikheil Saakashvili, who was the President of Georgia in 2008, can be given as an example. He is 'psychologically unstable'."
The Russian official then used harsh words about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
"I am sure that an equally deplorable fate awaits the head of the 'Kyiv junta' in the near future. He will not be needed by his own citizens, nor by his patrons in the West. He will stand before an international tribunal for his crimes, before a second Nuremberg - if he can live until then," Medvedev noted.
