Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev for his congratulations on the 35th anniversary of his country's independence.
Modern.az reports that Zelensky published a photo of the Azerbaijani President's congratulatory letter on his "X" account.
"Mr. President, thank you for your sincere congratulations on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Ukraine's independence. Azerbaijan's position on Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity has always been firm, and for this reason, we have always highly appreciated it. Together, we further develop our economic cooperation, which has been tested over many years, create new opportunities in the fields of energy and security, and extend a helping hand to each other when needed. I am sure that the friendship, mutual respect, and strategic partnership between Ukraine and Azerbaijan will continue to strengthen even further," Zelensky emphasized.
