Larisa Kazakova has been confirmed as the Minister of Education of the Penza region of Russia. Information about this was posted on the official website of the regional government.

She had been acting as deputy minister since March 2026 - after the previous head, Aleksey Fomin, was dismissed.

It should be noted that Larisa Kazakova was born in Baku on June 29, 1977. In 2002, she graduated from V.G. Belinsky Penza State Pedagogical University with a degree in "History". She worked as deputy director for scientific and methodological work at school No. 37 in Penza. On January 17, 2022, she was introduced to the staff of the College of Transport Technologies as acting director.
