The Russian side has stated its commitment to the consistent development of the entire complex of relations with Azerbaijan.
Modern.az reports that Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said this in a statement within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
Touching upon the future prospects of relations between Moscow and Baku, the high-ranking diplomat said:
"I would like to reaffirm that the principled position of the Russian side to consistently develop the entire complex of relations with the Republic of Azerbaijan remains unchanged. This fully meets the fundamental interests of the Russian and Azerbaijani peoples. Therefore, we do not intend to reduce the current pace of development of our relations."
