NATO countries are considering committing to a new military support package for Ukraine worth 70 billion euros.
Moden.az reports, citing Politico, which in turn cited diplomats from NATO countries.
According to the publication, the proposal envisages the creation of a new mechanism to ensure control and transparency in the financing of aid allocated to Kyiv.
The article notes that the initiative was put forward against the backdrop of some countries stating that they bear a greater financial burden of supporting Ukraine than others.
According to Politico's sources, this initiative was presented by Germany last month.
The relevant decision is expected to be discussed at the NATO summit in Ankara.
