The European Union has lifted the flight ban imposed on Kyrgyz air carriers.
Modern.az reports that this was announced by the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov.
According to him, as a result of the work done by the country in the field of aviation security, Kyrgyzstan has been removed from the European Union's aviation "black list".
It should be noted that the restrictions applied to Kyrgyz air carriers had been in force since 2006. Thus, after 20 years, the ban on flights of the country's airlines to the European Union has been lifted.
