The European Union will approve the creation of a new partnership mission for Armenia.
Modern.az reports that this was announced by Kaja Kallas, the EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
According to her, the new mission will deal with hybrid threats, as well as external information manipulation and interference faced by Armenia.
Kallas stated that Armenia is indeed facing such challenges and the main goal of the mission is to support the reduction of these risks.
The EU official did not provide additional information on the mission's operating format, powers, and start date.
It should be noted that the European Union currently has a Monitoring Mission operating in the country.
