The number of people killed as a result of the strong earthquake in Venezuela has reached 4734.
Modern.az reports that this was announced by the Speaker of the country's National Assembly, Jorge Rodriguez.
It was reported that 16,740 people were injured and 17,907 people were left homeless as a result of the natural disaster. 190 buildings were completely destroyed, and 856 buildings were seriously damaged.
It should be noted that two strong earthquakes with magnitudes of 7.2 and 7.5 occurred in Venezuela on June 24.
