The US Central Command (CENTCOM) has completed another military operation against Iran, striking dozens of military targets near the Strait of Hormuz and Iran's coastal areas.
Modern.az reports that this was stated in a statement released by the command.
It was noted that during the seven-hour operation, US fighter jets, unmanned aerial vehicles, and naval forces struck Iran's missile and unmanned aerial vehicle infrastructure, naval facilities, and coastal defense systems with high-precision munitions.
According to the statement, as a result of the operation, Iran's capabilities to threaten commercial shipping and civilian personnel have been further weakened.
"These attacks were carried out on the day the US forces restored the naval blockade against ships moving to Iranian ports and coastal areas," the statement emphasized.
