US President Donald Trump told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the importance of withdrawing Israeli troops from Lebanon and Syria.

Modern.az reports that “Axios” spread information about this, citing unnamed officials from the US and Israel.

According to the information, Trump conveyed this position during a telephone conversation with Benjamin Netanyahu on July 9.

According to one American official, Trump warned Netanyahu that the presence of Israeli troops in Syria increases tension in the region and could lead to an escalation of the situation
