The foreign ministers of the European Union member states have failed to reach an agreement on the 21st package of sanctions against Russia.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, at a press conference.
"We could not reach an agreement on the 21st sanctions package. However, I must say that we are already quite close to it. There are approximately 250 points within various sanction regimes, and all of them are aimed at increasing pressure on Russia," Kallas noted.
According to her, some provisions related to the import of fish from Russia will be removed from the prepared sanctions package.
