The favorites for the FIFA World Cup, which will be held in the USA, Mexico and Canada from June 11 to July 19, have been announced.
Modern.az reports that the favorites were determined by the "Opta" supercomputer:
Spain – 16.1%
France – 13.0%
England – 11.2%
Argentina – 10.4%
Portugal – 7.0%
Brazil – 6.6%
Germany – 5.1%
Netherlands – 3.6%
Norway – 3.5%
Belgium – 2.4%
These indicators reflect the probability of each team becoming world champion based on Opta's statistical model. Spain is considered the main favorite on the list, followed by France and England. Argentina, the reigning world champion, is in fourth place.
