Azerbaijan has started supplying plastic construction materials to Armenia.
Modern.az reports that, according to information disseminated by the Azerbaijani media, 1.39 tons of plastic construction parts were exported to Armenia in June. The total value of these products amounted to 5.91 thousand US dollars.
In the first half of 2026, the total volume of goods exported by Azerbaijan to Armenia reached 17.1 million dollars.
At the same time, the volume of indirect imports from Armenia to Azerbaijan was estimated at 960 dollars during the reporting period. However, no supplies in this category were recorded in June.
In total, according to the results of the first six months of 2026, Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover amounted to 24.66 billion US dollars. This indicator is 1.1 percent higher than in the same period last year.
During the reporting period, the volume of exports reached 16.32 billion dollars, which means an increase of 26.7 percent compared to the previous year. Imports, on the other hand, amounted to 8.34 billion dollars and decreased by 27.6 percent.
As a result, Azerbaijan's positive trade balance increased 5.9 times to 7.98 billion dollars.
