Modern.az reports that the last world champion, the Argentine national team, faced Egypt. The match played at the Atlanta stadium ended with the victory of the Argentines with a score of 3:2.
The Egyptian national team opened the score in the match. Yasser Ibrahim put his team ahead in the 15th minute. In the second half, Mustafa Ziko (67) increased Egypt's lead. Argentina, on the other hand, won a determined victory thanks to goals from Cristian Romero (79), Lionel Messi (83) and Enzo Fernandes (90+3).
On the night of July 8, the Swiss national team will clarify its relations with the Colombian team. The match, which will be held at the “BC Place” stadium in Vancouver, will start at 00:00. This will determine the last pair of the 1/4 finals.
It should be noted that earlier the national teams of Morocco, France, England, Norway, Spain and Belgium qualified for the 1/4 finals.
