Spanish newspaper "Marca" has announced the symbolic squad for the World Cup 2026 group stage.

Modern.az reports that the following players have been included in the squad:

Goalkeeper: Mostafa Shobeir (Egypt).

Defenders: Gabriel Magalhães (Brazil), Aymeric Laporte (Spain) and Jan Paul van Hecke (Netherlands).

Midfielders: Granit Xhaka (Switzerland), Rodri (Spain), Pedri (Spain) and Lee Kang-in (South Korea).

Forwards: Kylian Mbappé (France), Harry Kane (England) and Lionel Messi (Argentina).
