An expanded meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice-President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas.

During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the current state and future development prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union. The discussions covered political dialogue, legal and institutional cooperation, as well as directions for expanding the bilateral partnership agenda.
Special attention was paid to energy cooperation during the discussions.
Azerbaijan's role as a reliable partner contributing to Europe's energy security was particularly emphasized, and at the same time, opportunities for joint activities in the field of renewable energy were reviewed.
In addition, trade and investment opportunities, economic diversification, digitalization, innovation and industrial cooperation, as well as transport and logistics connections, especially the development of the Middle Corridor and regional infrastructure projects, were discussed at the meeting.
The parties also touched upon regional and international security issues. An exchange of views was held on post-conflict reconstruction and rehabilitation efforts, humanitarian mine clearance activities, and the normalization process in the South Caucasus. The importance of ensuring lasting peace and stability was once again emphasized at the meeting.
