Modern.az reports on this, citing "RIA Novosti".
The Russian diplomatic mission confirmed that the ambassador was summoned to the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. According to the information, the reason for this step was a comment by Mariya Zakharova, the spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Specifically, Zakharova, commenting on the collapse of a historic tower in the center of Rome, stated that if the country's government continues to spend its money on supporting Ukraine, all of Italy will collapse.
