“Within the framework of the TRIPP project (Zangezur corridor), Armenia's sovereign functions in customs and border matters are not a subject of discussion”.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in his conversation with journalists on January 15.
He reminded that the US has allocated 140 million dollars for preparatory work.
Pashinyan stated that additional work is related to design, but it is clear that the investment will be significant.
"For now, no one can say exactly how much this investment will be," Pashinyan noted.
"We will gain access to technologies that Armenia could not obtain before, and I hope they will be implemented within the framework of the TRIPP project," Pashinyan added.
