Iran is lifting restrictions on international internet access in the country, which have been in force since the beginning of January.

Modern.az reports that TASS disseminated this information, citing a diplomatic source.

"Currently, restrictions on the national internet platform in all sectors have been lifted, and international internet restrictions are also gradually being removed starting from January 19.

Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian, in a letter addressed to the relevant authorities, demanded the removal of all restrictions to revitalize the internet market and ensure society's access to international internet. This process is currently in the implementation phase," the agency's interlocutor stated.
