Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated during his speech in Istanbul that he was saddened and concerned by the attacks of the US and Israel on Iran.

"We are deeply saddened and concerned by the US-Israel attacks that began with the provocation of Netanyahu (Israeli Prime Minister)," the Turkish President stated.
Erdoğan noted that he had previously held telephone conversations with US President Donald Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, but it was not possible to restore trust between the two sides
