A stampede occurred at the historic Laferrière Castle in Haiti.

Modern.az reports, citing the Haitian National Police, that 25 people died and 30 were injured in the stampede.

It is noted that the castle is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

There is no official information yet regarding the cause of the incident.
