Mirzoyan met with an EU official in Brussels.
Modern.az reports that Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with EU Commissioner for Defense and Space Andrius Kubilius in Brussels on April 14.
According to the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the parties noted with satisfaction the active dynamics observed in the expansion of partnership between the European Union and Armenia.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on the prospects of cooperation in the field of security and defense. It was stated that the democratic reforms implemented in Armenia and the adoption of the Armenia-EU partnership agenda created new opportunities for cooperation.
The parties also discussed high-level events to be held in Yerevan in May, including the Armenia-EU summit.
Regional issues were also touched upon at the meeting. Mirzoyan provided information about the work done to further institutionalize the peace process forming between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
