The US guarantees that Iran will never acquire nuclear weapons.
Modern.az reports that, according to BBC, US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth stated this at a press conference.
According to Hegseth, the US would prefer to do this "the good way" by reaching an agreement under the leadership of Vice President J.D. Vance and the negotiating team.
However, the Pentagon chief stated that it could also be done "the hard way."
In this regard, he called on the Iranian authorities to "make a wise choice."
According to Hegseth, if Tehran "makes a bad choice," a blockade will be imposed and bombs will be dropped on the country's infrastructure and energy sector.
