It was noted that after the radar systems identified the UAV, contact with the device was lost southeast of the village of Chilia Veche, located near the border.
It should be recalled that Romania shares a 650 km land border with Ukraine. Since the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, there have been repeated cases of Russian UAVs violating Romanian airspace and debris falling on the country's territory.
