Iran's "Khatam al-Anbiya" Central Headquarters announced that the situation in the Strait of Hormuz has returned to a strict control regime.
Modern.az reports that "Tasnim" published this information.
Ebrahim Zulfiqari, spokesman for the "Khatam al-Anbiya" Central Headquarters, stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran, based on previous agreements and the goodwill shown in the negotiations, had agreed to the controlled passage of a limited number of oil tankers and commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz. However, the Americans, as before, are not adhering to their obligations and continue piracy and maritime banditry under the name of "blockade."
He added that for this reason, control in the Strait of Hormuz has been returned to its previous state, and this strategic strait is under the strict control of the armed forces.
The spokesman for "Khatam al-Anbiya" stated that until the US fully allows the free movement of Iranian-origin vessels in any direction, the situation in the Strait of Hormuz will remain under strict control and previous rules will be applied.
