European Union ambassadors have approved a 90 billion euro loan to Ukraine.
Modern.az reports with reference to foreign media that this happened after Hungary withdrew its veto right.
Thus, the Union took a decisive step in the final approval process for granting a large amount of credit to Ukraine for 2026-2027. Due to Hungary's veto right during Viktor Orban's government, this issue had remained unresolved for several months.
The decision of the European Union ambassadors paves the way for the final approval of the loan.
In addition, the ambassadors also adopted the 20th package of sanctions against Russia.
