Georgia has been expelled from the Open Government Partnership (OGP) international platform.
According to Modern.az, the organization cited the ruling "Georgian Dream" Party's proposed and parliament-approved "foreign agents" bill as a reason for the country's "retreat from democracy."
It should be noted that in 2023, the organization had issued an ultimatum to Georgia regarding the law.
