Tbilisi City Court sentenced former Georgian Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze to 10 years in prison. He was found guilty of money laundering and abuse of power.

Modern.az reports that "Rustavi-2" TV channel spread information about this.

"The court found former defense minister Juansher Burchuladze, his former deputy Giorgi Khaindrava, Burchuladze's wife's son-in-law Vasil Mkheidze and former head of the Ministry of Defense's procurement department Vladimir Gudushauri guilty," the report said.
